After a lengthy search for the "Perfect" Ford Expedition, we quickly learned that honesty is not the policy in the world of car dealers and no one had a REAL deal. After all but giving up my husband stumbled across the Consumer Advantage site. The site claimed "Wholesale to the public, honestly!" We searched the inventory and of course we were still set on an Expedition; that was until we found a LINCOLN NAVIGATOR! It was everything we wanted and more. We instantly picked up the phone and called Mr. Adams, he was more than happy to answer any questions and did up until 10:30 that night. The next morning I traveled to meet him and picked up my new baby. The transaction was smooth and Mr. Adams met many accommodations. The Navigator was everything he said. Two days after the purchase I made a 2000 mile road trip with absolutely NO issues. Thanks Bob!
Very Truly Yours,
Loretta

It’s been about a month now, but every time I step into my car, push the start button and hear the engine roar, I grin like I just hit the lottery. Yes, I love my car; it’s kind of hard not to love a Mercedes…especially your first, as in my case. Aside from the sheer joy of loving my car (E-350 4-matic), the buying experience has been the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been purchasing cards for over 35 years, I have yet to have an experience as pleasurable and as rewarding as the one I had with Consumer Advantage. Throughout the process, which was unique in itself, I’ve never felt any pressure or any other kind of discomfort. It really was the simplest car buying experience that I’ve ever had.
I told Bob specifically what car I wanted, what year I wanted, the options I desired, the maximum I was willing to pay and even the color. Bob confidently said, “Don’t worry Ken. We’ll get you your car”! He did exactly what he said. I received absolutely everything that I requested at a price that was thousands of dollars less than I would have paid at a conventional dealership. I received the best car in the world because I picked it myself. No one tried to convince me to take something less or a different color or any of the underhanded tactics that I’ve become accustomed to dealing with when negotiating car deals. In fact, there wasn’t any negotiation at all. I got my car at a price that was right for me without all of the added charges. I’m still waiting for the “buyer’s remorse” to kick in!
Bob has the best thing going since sliced bread. I would use him again and again, but somehow I don’t think I’ll need another car for a long time. This one’s a keeper! I will most definitely recommend this company to anyone who is seriously interested in purchasing a great car at a fair and affordable price. I would be more than willing to provide a personal reference to any prospective buyers as well. Thank you Bob for your professionalism, transparent process, patience, availability and most importantly your honesty!

This past October, I found myself in the unenviable position of having to find a smaller vehicle for our family of 5 to take to Europe. What
made this process daunting is that my mechanical, reliable husband was in Saudi
Arabia, soon to be transferred to Germany. There was no way for him to aid in
this search other than to remind me that the car needed to be reliable and also
fit his 6'4" frame, (mostly all legs). I started my search on Craigslist, CarMax,
and local dealerships. My research at this point was mostly done online. I
checked Edmunds.com for car model reviews and after many weeks of reading and
deciding what we truly needed for our 3 year tour in Europe I had narrowed the
search down to a "genre" of cars. I decided I wanted a small SUV.
At this point, I had all the measurements and reviews I could mentally process. I needed to test drive. I drove the three kids to the nearest CarMax and attached myself to an
unsuspecting salesperson. What began as a fun excursion for the kids soon
turned into a long day of driving about 5 vehicles, but the day was very
enlightening for me. I was able to quickly narrow my list as some of my options
didn't perform as well as I expected. I also learned that my children are
extremely well behaved until they get hungry.
Now that my list had been whittled down to about 3 styles it was time to price check. Back to Craigslist,
vast.com, and Edmunds to research local prices again. At this point I was
starting to get frustrated. I wasn't finding anything with few enough miles and
a cheap enough price. I was planning on reselling this car in 3 years when our
tour in Europe was over and my reasoning is that the fewer miles would be more
attractive on resale. Fortunately, serendipity stepped in and I found Bob
Adams.
I came across a listing for a Volvo XC90 in beautiful condition, low mileage, and thousands of
dollars less than anything I was previously finding. I checked out Bob's
website and testimonials and started to experience a very confident feeling
that I had found a man with an honest world view and a willingness to find his
customers exactly what they wanted. As long as you knew what you wanted and had
done your research to ensure you knew what the market could provide, he could
find the right vehicle for you.
This is where the partnership concept comes in. You have to rely on Bob's expertise and honesty and he has to
rely on your commitment to finalize the purchase that he has entered into on
faith. In today's society it is hard to find an honest practitioner in any
field, let alone the used car business. I decide to take a chance and at least
email Bob to see what he could deliver in my price range. We emailed back and
forth for a week or so with Bob providing a lot of valuable and straightforward
advice on different models and encouragement to take my time. There was no
pressure to commit to anything and no stress over prices. What Bob promises is
that he will show you his buy ticket and you are expected to pay a minimal fee
for all his effort. A very reasonable proposal and one that appealed to my
frugal side. Why should I pay dealership fees when I would be getting the exact same car that Bob would sell to the dealership?
When Bob had answered as much as he could via email and I felt I had reached a point of ultimate decision, I called Bob. He was immediately likable. He explained how he would go about finding a vehicle by reviewing auction lists and bidding on your choices. We had several choices available before we found the exact choice he would bid on.
The vehicle was in even better condition than I expected. It was so clean and
presentable that Bob was able to deliver the car without delay. Within 3 days
of bidding, I had a practically brand new car in the drive way.
Bob helped out with getting a title in my name, he managed to get the car to me instead of delaying the
delivery until I was able to get a second driver, and I honestly feel that if I
had any problems, even not car related, Bob would be someone I could call to
help out. He is a committed family man with a generous spirit and respect for
people on a personal level.
I am very satisfied, even elated, with the ease and honesty of our transaction. I am happy to have taken a chance on this alternative but so much more rewarding experience. Mostly
though, I am proud to have met Bob Adams and reaffirmed my faith that there
still are generous, honest, straightforward business men out there. Thanks Bob
"The Car Seeker" Adams!
Sincerely, Drue Zaharis

I would just like to thank you for the help and assistance in making the purchase of a used car for my son as easy and pain free as I believe is possible!
Through your expertise, not only were you able to find the car, year, mileage and model (and color!!) that he wanted, but we also saved at least $2000 on the current market pricing (I have only been able to find four similar model’s within 200 miles of our location!!).
Your honesty, open communications and expertise relieved us of all the hassle and time consuming effort that is normally involved with multiple visits to one or many used car dealerships! We were able to buy from you with confidence knowing that car had not been modified, repaired or altered in any manner and throughout the whole process you provided timely and regular information, photos, specification, options and updates.
Without hesitation I would (and will) recommend you and the service you provide to family, friends and co-workers. (I will certainly be contacting you for future requirements).
I would be more then happy to provide a personal reference to any of your prospective customers
Best Regards
Andy Russell

I first came in contact with Bob and Consumer Advantage, LLC when I saw a nice SUV listed on the Internet. There are SO many misrepresentations out there that I was really hesitant to bid but Bob’s reputation as seen through the eBay feedback and the testimonials on his web site gave even this skeptic confidence!
While I did not purchase that first vehicle I had seen (it was a stick and I needed an automatic), my emails and conversations with Bob led me to the firm belief that this was a guy who had my best interests at heart and who could find me just what I wanted. The idea of a “buyer’s broker” for the car business made a great deal of sense to me and it worked out better than I ever imagined.
The information that Bob shared with me and the absolutely transparent nature of our transaction was like nothing I had ever experienced in my many years of purchasing lots of vehicles for myself and for the company I own. What a refreshing change! When you work with Bob it opens your eyes to the “traditional” method of buying in a way that makes you wish you had known how the car business actually works before you bought the first car you ever owned. But my wife and I have now discovered how to “beat the system” and we will take advantage of Bob’s expertise, professionalism and honest, transparent nature many times in the future we are sure. Both our company vehicles and our personal ones will all be procured with Consumer Advantage. The company name is right on spot!
To put a bottom line on this, my wife and I have the nicest vehicle we have ever owned, our 2007 Mercedes-Benz ML350. Bob and I together did a lot of research and I am SURE that we have the best one ever made! The process was SO much more enjoyable than the marathon searches and dealership negotiations into the night that are the norm. Oh and by the way based on everything we learned we saved $5000. No kidding.
Bob has my permission to refer prospective buyers to me if you want to learn more about this experience. There IS a better way to buy. Thanks Bob!

Bob,
I wanted to write and say "Thank you" for making my recent vehicle purchase a success! From start to finish I couldn't have asked for a more professional, up front, and honest seller. I have never had such personalized attention when buying a vehicle. You were there to answer all of my questions, your communication was amazing, and the follow thru on my purchase went beyond my expectations. I had been wanting a Nissan Pathfinder for over a year now, but could never find one that met my specifications...white exterior, tan interior, navigation, etc. I can honestly say that I have contacted numerous dealers in my tri state area...requesting them to look for this vehicle for me and stressing how serious I was in purchasing it. I never heard back from any of them so I decided to try to find it on the internet. After many Google searches, I came upon your listing...this was the EXACT vehicle I had been describing to dealers (who could never locate the car for me!)
I immediately called my husband as soon as I saw it, and told him that I had found my car. I had always been hesitant to purchase a big ticket item over the internet, but you alleviated all of my concerns from the first time I spoke to you. Thank you for answering all of my questions with honesty and patience. Your willingness to work with me (especially being a female buyer) calmed my fears and allowed me to follow through with the purchase. Within 2 days of seeing the vehicle, I was on a flight to Washington, DC. Knowing that you were waiting at the gate for me as soon as my plane landed made me feel even more confident with this transaction. My Pathfinder is gorgeous! When my husband is ready to buy his new car he has already said that he will contact you first! Again, thank you, I appreciate all you have done for me. Have a wonderful New Year. I know I will in my new Pathfinder!
Your new friend,
Lisa Dyer

In late 2009, I retired from the Army and had an uneventful drive from El Paso, TX to Alexandria, VA where my Ford Explorer was T-boned in an intersection and totaled. So there I was, standing in the middle of the street in the pouring rain with a large German Shepherd, 6 hours from my southern Virginia home. Fortunately I was only a few miles from a friend's house and that friend knew Bob.
Twelve hours after we called him, Bob delivered a 2007 Volvo XC90. Still under warranty. 31,000 miles. $7000 less than book.
The transaction went like this. Michael called Bob. Ten minutes later, Bob called me. I gave him my price range and my critical criteria: two large German Shepherd show crates had to fit in the back; the back had to fold down flat to fit the crates and all of my show equipment; dedicated AC in the back for the dogs; 4-wheel drive as the dogs compete in AKC Tracking events in the field; and white would be nice. Fortunately, Bob was at an auction and the hunt commenced. We had several phone conversations during the day to discuss prospects. Bob and his nephew delivered the Volvo early the same evening. The car is gorgeous and loaded and white!
Bob insisted on dropping the back and putting both crates in, because he was taking the car back if they didn't fit. This was great, because in the intervening 12 hours I had picked up a second German Shepherd, with crate. I called Bob because I have absolute confidence in Michael. Now I have absolute confidence in Bob. He's THE BEST. PS: He also likes dogs.

There are good car dealers and there are exceptional car dealers, Bob counts amongst the exceptional ones! Buying a new car is one of life's major events, one has to be astute and prudent when on the lookout and Bob helped me find an awesome deal!
He helped me understand how the car business works and how to lookout for cars with potential problems. One of the most enjoyable and important step was getting a list of cars and going over them with Bob. It was one BIG eye opener and a great learning experience. His experience helped me narrow down a big list to 1 great car.
He got me my first car, a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE with 3800 miles on it. The price was about $3000 below market price. I have been driving this car for over 2 weeks now and it is the best vehicle I could own with no flaws whatsoever!
What I learnt: When you don't get what you are looking for at first, look harder, you will amazed at what you find!
Bob, I truly appreciate your effort and Thank You for helping me get a great deal!
